Ken and Roseann: I wanted to
take this opportunity to write you and express the feelings that I and Joshua
have about you two. Sometimes a person gets lucky when they meet someone new.
That is how I feel. I realize that your lodge, and the hunts that you work so
hard at are your livelihood, but you have put something more into the
relationships that develop, and that something special is why I, and I would
assume others, return for more. The effort that you two have made to make my son
and me enjoy these trips has been invaluable and special. The effort that
Roseann has made to meet my dietary needs has not gone unnoticed. The friendship
that you extend goes beyond that of most outfitters, and beyond the hunt itself.
I thank both of you for that friendship and encouragement. I have certainly felt
that relationship grow with each experience that we have shared. I thank you for
this and wish you and your family the best for the new year and the years
beyond. I look forward to continuing this relationship and sharing the joy of
the hunt with both of you in the years to come in Texas and beyond...
I would also ask a favor of
you, Roseann. Could you scan in the recipe for that incredible duck dish that
you served and email it to me. I want to prepare that for my wife to experience.

One friend in SC is married to a trophy hunters' daughter. This lady (I don't
know here name), who lives in Las Vegas, was interested in hunting with you
after she saw the picture of Paul's. Anyway I sent him the information to pass
along. I told him that you are first class all the way and are as good as any
outfitter that I've hunted with.
I can't brag enough about the hospitality and your attention to details ensuring
that your clients have a quality experience. You are welcome to use me as a
referral anytime. You know looking back it's the little things like getting
camera batteries to buying cigars that make the total experience so special.
I really appreciate everything you did to prepare from scouting out good places
to eat. I really look forward to hunting with you again. Hopefully, I can get

A guest writes to his hunting buddy: Henry, I heartily recommend these
folks. It's not just mule deer & whitetails. He does birds too, and elk in NM.
Some of the guys I hunted with shot Sandhill Cranes. Roseann made delicious
