Antelope hunts...2008

Antelope hunts in New Mexico are very
rewarding. New Mexico has an extremely large population of
pronghorn antelope. Hunters do not need to draw for a license when hunting on
private land.

Rifle Antelope areas produce a high percentage of trophy animals. In fact a few
will qualify for the Boone and Crockett books. This is one of the most
interesting and enjoyable hunts offered that provides a high success of
harvesting a trophy animal. Antelope hunts are an excellent experience for the
first-time western hunter. Prospective rifle hunters should consider investing
in a quality bipod, to increase shooting accuracy. Most years this hunt runs
100% success on harvest.

Our ranches comprise more than 120,000 acres and receive very little hunting
pressure. Hunters can expect to see 75 or more antelope during their hunt.
Licenses are guaranteed with our private landowner permits.
Hunting Methods
The best method is to cover a lot of ground via 4WD vehicle or on
foot, stopping frequently to glass the large herds of antelope.
Through careful evaluation we can then determine the best way to
stalk the herd. The average shot is around 200 yards. These hunts are conducted at specified times
determined by NMG&F usually in mid-September.
What Is Included in the Package
Private landowner permit which guarantees a New Mexico antelope
hunting license, food (local cafes & restaurants), lodging (usually
motels), guides (guided 2x1 unless otherwise specified), and basic
trophy care.
Pricing for 2011
Semi-guided hunt is $2,600.00 each + 5.625% New Mexico sales tax.
Non-hunters are welcome for $375.00 per person based upon
availability.
