Bow hunting Texas Whitetail and Mule Deer
FAIR CHASE, FREE-RANGING DEER &
more game** -- Working hard to be a premier whitetail hunting destination for bow hunters!
Check out some of the 2009 harvests with a bow. These
whitetail setups are
BOW ONLY SETUPS - NO RIFLE HUNTING at bow only locations while bow
hunters are booked*.
Terrific opportunity for a true P&Y buck!***

Duane (above left) brings in a
150 P&Y
gross scoring buck on 11-15-09 - what a buck with a
bow! Congrats Duane! And left, Grady McCoy and his 144-5/8" buck with a
bow on 11-5-09
*A
note to bow hunters wanting to book with us:
We hunt for a living and have been here more than 17 years. We do not OVER-HUNT
any of our ground. We take approximately 45 rifle hunters during the 60+ day
whitetail season in November and December each year - 17 of those hunters are
MULE DEER bookings that do not affect our whitetail population. We have more
than 14,000 acres leased, so we don't have to use our bow hunting properties for
rifle hunts necessarily. However, AFTER our bow hunters have completely
departed, we will occasionally use these properties for rifle hunters.
(an old orchard with pecans, black walnut and apple trees) with live water in 2
places and never commercially hunted. Bow hunting references on request.
**
We also have bow set ups
on our hog
ranch with a double hot-wired low fence enclosure AND Rio
Grande turkey hunts spring and fall!
***
We ask that no one shoot a
buck less than 8 points and wider than his ears - up here that will normally net
a 125 point buck or better.
OCTOBER IS
BOW ONLY
MONTH IN TEXAS - and we're looking forward to filling
the month with bow hunters. You can hunt for WHITETAIL and MULE DEER (our hunts
allow you to harvest -1- buck) and up to 2 does and up to 4 hen turkeys -- what
a hunt! Bow hunters are welcome during our rifle season too! Great
bucks - great prices!

ACCOMMODATIONS FOR BOW HUNTERS
Our modest, clean guest house, "The
Brass Lantern" is perfect for the bow hunter - the screened porch is
a great place to hang your clothes to pick up our local scent and keeps you
isolated from the cooking and food odors at the lodge. Click the link above for
more info.
In the guest house you will find:
Washer/dryer, TV, Refrigerator, Stove, Coffee Maker & coffee, boot
dryer, screened porch or porches for relaxing, sheets, blankets and towels
along with a modest assortment of cooking utensils and dishware.

Texas Panhandle Whitetail Deer and
Mule Deer Hunting...GREAT spots remain available for 2008-2009!
Texas has long been known for big whitetail deer and exceptional deer hunting. The Panhandle of Texas, however, has quietly been changing the State's record book as big racked bucks are continually being harvested. Donley County, home to All American Outfitter, is rumored to be the deer capital of Texas.
Guided whitetail deer hunting with meals and lodging provided. Trophy whitetail deer and
mule deer hunting.
This page is full of pictures - be patient while it loads and be sure and scroll
to the bottom.
Look at the Difference!

Above is a GREAT example of the difference in our deer -- the deer
on the left is a Kansas' sub-species whitetail and the deer on the
right is a Texas whitetail.
